Thomas Jones, MD

Dr. Thomas Jones, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician with an impressive career in healthcare education and training. Dr. Jones holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and a Master's degree in Microbiology from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his medical degree at Spartan Health Sciences University, followed by clinical training at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. Dr. Jones attended residency at the University of Wyoming Family Medicine Residency Program in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where he served as Chief Resident.
In September 2007, Dr. Jones established Teton Medical Group in Rexburg, Idaho. During the initial three years of founding Teton Medical Group, Dr. Jones dedicated his weekends to serving as the medical director for Big Piney, Wyoming, where he worked on developing a regional trauma center. Dr. Jones is currently director for Clark County EMS Services and Jail. Dr. Jones is dedicated to staying up to date with the latest medical advancements to ensure that his patients receive the highest quality of care.
Beyond his medical practice, Dr. Jones enjoys various outdoor activities, including hunting, snowmobiling, razor riding, and kayaking. He also cherishes spending quality time with his family. Married with four children and two grandsons, Dr. Jones values the importance of family life and strives to create meaningful connections with his patients and community.

David Day, PA-C

David Day, PA-C, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as a provider for Teton Medical Group, with a distinguished career spanning various healthcare specialties. After earning his Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health and Science from the University of Utah, where he also excelled as a football player, David pursued his passion for medicine by attending Idaho State University's Physician Assistant program.
Throughout his career, David has made significant contributions to the healthcare field, starting with three years in Emergency Medicine in Carson City, Nevada, followed by a year specializing in Orthopedic Surgery & Sports Medicine. For the past 15 years, David has been dedicated to serving the community of Rexburg, Idaho, as a valued member of the Teton Medical Group team.
Beyond his professional endeavors, David is an avid enthusiast of outdoor activities, including snowmobiling, razor riding, and various sports. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, David's roots run deep in the Intermountain West. He and his wife, along with their four children, have made Rexburg their home since 2002, where they actively engage in community life and enjoy the beauty of Idaho's landscapes together.
